Notice on the Commercial Use of Distributed Cache Service

Aug 07, 2018 GMT+08:00

Dear HUAWEI CLOUD customers:

At 00:00:00 (GMT+08:00) on August 10, 2018, HUAWEI CLOUD will be putting Distributed Cache Service (DCS) for Redis and DCS for Memcached into commercial use. Users of the service are billed for using single-node, master/standby, and cluster DCS Redis instances, as well as single-node and master/standby DCS Memcached instances. To view price details, visit the HUAWEI CLOUD website.

DCS is a high-performance distributed cache service that supports various in-memory database engines including Redis and Memcached. It accelerates web applications and alleviates load on backend databases to ensure high read/write performance and quick access to data.

DCS for Redis and DCS for Memcached are charged based on usage (pay-per-use). To continue to use these services, ensure that your account balance is sufficient. If you no longer need to use these services, delete your instances to avoid deductions to your account balance.

Please submit a service ticket if you encounter any issues or have any suggestions.

Thank you for using HUAWEI CLOUD.
