HUAWEI CLOUD Infrastructure Services Certified by ITSS: Cloud Computing Service Capability Level 1

On January 9, 2019, Huawei received the Level 1 Cloud Computing Service Capability Standards Compliance Certificate issued by the Information Technology Service Standards (ITSS) Sub-committee of the Chinese Electronics Standardization Association (CESA). This certificate recognizes that HUAWEI CLOUD infrastructure services meet the highest scale, function, performance, security, personnel, and management requirements described in the Guide on Building the Cloud Computing Integrated Standardization System issued by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
MIIT classifies public cloud service capability compliance into four levels. The highest level is level 1, which not only requires that the cloud computing service providers have comprehensive and quantitative management capability, but also drive technological innovation and service transformation. This evaluation was conducted by China’s MIIT. The China Electronics Standardization Institute (CESI), China Software Test Center (CSTC), CEPREI, ETIRI, and other professional institutes also participated in it. Based on a few months of testing of nearly 200 technical items of six categories and an expert evaluation team composed of research institutes and university professors, the final result was obtained.
HUAWEI CLOUD infrastructure services won multiple industry awards in 2018:
- HUAWEI CLOUD C3 Instance: Remarkable Performance Award and HUAWEI CLOUD P1 Instance: Excellent Performance Award issued by Max Performance Cloud Innovation (MAXP)
- Huawei Cloud C3ne Instance: 2018 Trusted Cloud Technology Innovation Award issued by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) at the Trusted Cloud Summit in August, 2018
- HUAWEI CLOUD Bare Metal Server: Influential Product of the Year 2017—2018 Chinese public cloud market issued by CCID
The level 1 ITSS certificate recognizes that HUAWEI CLOUD infrastructure services lead the public cloud industry.
