Following a thorough audit by authoritative standards agencies, BSI (British Standards Institution) and CSA (Cloud Security Alliance), HUAWEI CLOUD has successfully earned recertification for ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, and CSA STAR.

Following a thorough audit by authoritative standards agencies, BSI (British Standards Institution) and CSA (Cloud Security Alliance), HUAWEI CLOUD has successfully earned recertification for ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, and CSA STAR.

The recertification audit covers all HUAWEI CLOUD equipment rooms and more than one hundred core cloud services, making the Chinese cloud service provider a market leader in terms of the number of certified cloud services.

The recertification results, in particular the Gold certification from CSA STAR, the highest level possible, further demonstrates HUAWEI CLOUD's state-of-the-art information security capabilities. HUAWEI CLOUD has utilized its unique standing to deliver premium services that have assisted in the growth of countless enterprises.

Four Certifications

ISO 27001 is a widely accepted international standard for information security management systems. The recent recertification audit covers a wider geographical scope, and involves more equipment rooms and cloud services. The successful re-certification confirms HUAWEI CLOUD's position as a leading provider of information security management systems.

ISO 27018 addresses security controls for protecting personally identifying information (PII) in the cloud for compliance with privacy regulations. Passing this certification validates HUAWEI CLOUD’s longstanding commitment to protecting personal data.

Jointly developed by the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) and the British Standards Institution (BSI), the CSA STAR certification is a rigorous independent third-party assessment of a cloud service provider’s security capabilities. The HUAWEI CLOUD platform was recertified by CSA STAR, a reflection of its belief in transparent, customer-oriented solutions.

A Secure, reliable, and stable cloud service platform

HUAWEI CLOUD has worked tirelessly to build powerful security services. In May 2019, BSI announced that HUAWEI CLOUD Singapore region had obtained a Level-3 certification, the highest security rating for MTCS (Multi-layer Cloud Security). This rating was made possible by HUAWEI CLOUD’s strong technical security team and standardized management process, which equips users with optimally secure, reliable, and stable cloud platforms and services.
